HYDRO-LYTE [R] should be be offered to livestock as a supplemental source of the electrolytes normally lost from the body during stress. Begin 3-4 days before transporting and continue while animals are adapting to the new environment.

In Drinking Water:
Dissolve one 4-ounce pack in each 1/2 gallon of drinking water.

As A Top-Dress On Feed:
HYDRO-LYTE [R] can also be used as a top-dress on daily feed. Mix one 4-ounce pack of HYDRO-LYTE [R] per 2 pounds of feed.

ELECTROLYTES: HYDRO-LYTE [R] is formulated with key electrolytes for proper rehydration during times of stress. It replaces the natural electrolytes normally lost from the body during transportation and handling.

AMINO ACIDS: HYDRO-LYTE [R] includes glycine to help promote absorption of electrolytic compounds into the muscle cells.

VITAMINS: HYDRO-LYTE [R] contains vitamin C and panthothenic acid for maintaining proper intestinal function and overall health of the animal.

MANNAN OLIGOSACCHARIDES: HYDRO-LYTE [R] has been specifically formulated to include these constituents of yeast cell walls. The positively charged M. Oligosaccharides are reported to serve as a "preferred" binding site for negatively charged pathogenic bacteria and microorganisms.

PROBIOTICS AND ENZYMES: HYDRO-LYTE [R] contains beneficial bacteria that stabilize the gut's natural microorganisms and enzymes to improve feed digestion and utilization.
